What is NOACC and why is it important?
  • NOACC is the Northern Ohio Association of Chambers of Commerce, of which the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce is a member.
  • By joining the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce your business automatically becomes a part of a greater coalition consisting of all the members of all the Chambers in NOACC. The influence of NOACC is significant on State, Regional and National levels just as each Chamber is within it's own community.
  • Because of the size of the combined membership in NOACC there are certain business benefits such as Group Health Insurance discounts and Workers' Compensation premium reductions that are available to Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce members. NOACC provides detailed information on their website.
How do I become a member?
  • The Plain Dealer Review the Schedule of Dues below to determine which classification, membership type (Regular or Founding), and investment (dues) amount applies to you. An Application Fee of $25 will be added to your first year's Annual or Founding dues for clerical processing and your membership plaque.

* Sustaining Members are entitled to attend that year's ten luncheon meetings at no charge. (Limited to one person per luncheon.) Renewals will be at the sustaining dues rate.

** Each member is entitled to 1 to 3 representatives depending on the classification and number of employees. Additional representatives can be added (up to a total of 3) at a cost of $50 per year per additional representative.

NOTE: If a member joins the Chamber mid-year the Annual portion of the dues will be prorated to exclude any calendar year quarter that has past. For example, if a business with 50 employees joins in May as a Regular member the dues would be $200 x .75 or $150. If they joined as a Sustaining Member the dues would be $310 x .75 = $232.50.
